Confidence Is Returning to the Sunshine Coast Property Market
As we move into the second half of the year, we’re seeing a noticeable shift in buyer confidence across the Sunshine Coast. June has been a month where motivated buyers have started making decisions with greater certainty, quality homes continue to attract strong competition and sellers who are priced well are being rewarded.
While the market isn’t moving at the frantic pace we experienced a few years ago, it remains incredibly healthy. The biggest difference is that buyers are becoming more selective, making presentation, pricing and strategy more important than ever.
Buyer Confidence Continues to Build
Following recent interest rate cuts and greater certainty around the economic outlook, confidence has continued to improve. Buyers who were sitting on the sidelines earlier in the year are now actively inspecting homes, making offers and competing for quality properties.
We’re continuing to see a strong mix of local families, interstate buyers and downsizers looking to secure property across Maroochydore, Kuluin, Buderim and the surrounding Sunshine Coast.
Recent Sales
June has been another rewarding month for Team Vibert, with a number of outstanding results achieved across the Sunshine Coast.
Every property has a different story, but the common theme remains the same: a tailored strategy, strong negotiation and quality marketing continue to deliver excellent outcomes for our sellers.
Recent sales include:
- 4 Summer Ridge Place, Buderim sold for: $2,060,000
- 53 Yvonne Street, Highworth sold for: $2,025,000
- 27 Daintree Drive, Palmview sold for: $1,045,000

Quality Properties Remain in Short Supply
Despite more homes coming to market over recent months, there’s still a shortage of standout properties in desirable locations.
Family homes on larger blocks, lifestyle properties and well-located homes close to schools, beaches and amenities continue to attract significant enquiry.
When the right property becomes available, buyers are prepared to move quickly.

Original in condition and rich with potential for renovators and value driven buyers who can see what it could become. Looking Ahead
As we move into winter, we expect buyer activity to remain consistent.
Historically, the Sunshine Coast doesn’t experience the seasonal slowdown seen in many southern markets. Our climate, lifestyle and continued population growth mean buyer demand remains relatively steady throughout the year.
If interest rates remain stable and confidence continues improving, we expect competition for quality homes to strengthen heading into spring.
